The Google Ad Grant is a grant from Google for Nonprofits that gives qualifying 501(c)3 organizations $10,000 monthly credit to spend in Google AdWords. These text ads appear in the search results of Google. Participating organizations benefit from increased visibility, volunteer and employee recruitment, event promotion, and increased donations and fundraising.
Eligible nonprofits hold a valid, current 501(c)3 status with an operational website containing substantial, valid content. However, governmental entity and hospital organizations do not qualify.

With our team of certified experts we can help your nonprofit use the full $10,000 Google Ad Grants and allow you to devote your time to running your nonprofit organization.
The Google Ad Grant is one of the most valuable and underutilized tools that nonprofit organizations have. A $10,000 monthly advertising credit can go a long way if you know how to use it, and in our experience, we have found that most nonprofits and marketing agencies have trouble managing the grant effectively. Due to the specialized nature of the credit and Google’s evolving policies, anyone using this philanthropic advertising platform should be ingrained in the specifics of both the AdWords software, and the nuances of the nonprofit landscape and grant policies.
At Cause Inspired Media, we are accustomed to adjusting to Google’s policy changes on a regular basis. Our team of experts has the capabilities to effectively optimize each account despite any policies that may impact them.
“Our Safety Council has been with Yellow Pages for decades. Our advertising costs increased each year. In the print editions we had headings or ads to promote our company under different categories, such as Motorcycle, Traffic, Driving, Occupational and even in the Spanish book.
Over the years less and less people used the print edition and we saw a decrease in our call volume.
Then Yellow Pages sold us on the idea of internet advertising and we did that for a number of years. They would send us analytics to show us how well we were performing. YP Marketing Solutions would send us ad performance summaries showing clicks and impressions.
We stopped using Yellow Pages most recently because other Safety Councils told us that they completely stopped using phone books. We know that people do not want a book and use the internet to find information. We did not know how to stop and thought that we didn’t have an option until we received a Google Grant. Then it took us over a year to realize that we were competing with ourselves by using Yellow Pages and the Google Grant.
Once we had this awakening we were able to cancel our renewing agreement with Yellow Pages just in time.”
“From the beginning, it’s been an easy process to work with Cause Inspired Media. They quickly understood our organization and what our goals are so they could help us reach them. In just 3 months they more than tripled our website conversion rate through the Google Ad Campaign success. Additionally, they have been particularly great in helping us to understand ‘quality clicks’ and how its helping us reach our goals.”
“As a business improvement district and 501 c 3 organization, sponsorships are an integral part of our annual budget allowing us to achieve promotions, events and projects that we be unable to realize otherwise. Receiving the Google Ad Grant Award has allowed us to not only increase our number of sponsorships this year, but to increase the level of sponsorships as well. Within a 5 month period of leveraging the Adword campaign to secure sponsorships, we had exceeded our sponsorship goals for the year. Thanks Google and Cause Inspired Media for helping us to succeed!”
